Dayton Children’s Hospital Mathile Youth Mental Health Wellness Center to Receive DBX President’s Award
Dayton Children’s Hospital Mathile Youth Mental Health Wellness Center to Receive DBX President’s Award
The Dayton Builders Exchange President’s Award is presented at the discretion of the current DBX President to recognize a person, organization, or project that has made a significant and positive impact on the local construction industry. This year, DBX President Phil Braaksma has chosen to honor the Dayton Children’s Hospital Mathile Youth Mental Health Wellness Center with this prestigious award.
Phil’s selection was influenced by several factors, including the Mathile Foundation’s commitment to youth mental wellness and the leadership of Deborah Feldman, President and CEO of Dayton Children’s Hospital. Feldman’s dedication to addressing youth mental health in the Dayton region—demonstrated through the successful $85 million "Do More So Kids Thrive" campaign—helped solidify this decision.
The Mathile Youth Mental Health Wellness Center was also recognized with the DBX Operation BOLT (Building with Our Local Talent) Award, celebrating projects that use a majority of local design professionals, contractors, and suppliers. This commitment reflects a strong understanding of the positive economic impact that results from supporting local businesses and workforce.
We invite you to join us at Team Building Night to help us recognize and celebrate the contributions of Dayton Children’s Hospital and the Mathile Foundation.
